Women in Finance Charter – Panel Discussion

In this time of the so-called “Great Resignation”, Financial Services firms are experiencing higher than normal rates of attrition and then having to recruit to fill roles in a very competitive market.

This of course impacts the pipeline of female talent that firms have worked so hard to attract and develop, a key consideration for many Women in Finance Charter (WIFC) signatories.

Kirsty Pineger, Executive Director at Bruin, was invited to join a panel discussion for WIFC signatories to provide guidance on how to successfully navigate the current situation.

Key points of focus included:

  • Understanding the key trends employers will face as they begin to recruit at this time, and what they see on the horizon
  • Find out why FS firms are not getting their desired candidates – and what they can do to change that
  • Discuss the benefits that matter to FS candidates, and which ones don’t
  • Capability vs experience in hiring – why this matters now more than ever (and how can SMEs adapt)
