upReach Skills Workshop

Bruin was recently invited to host a Skills Workshop with social mobility charity upReach, as part of their collaborative work with Diversity Project, to share top tips for CV writing, presentation and insights into the financial services sector.

upReach is a social mobility charity supporting undergraduates from under-represented backgrounds into top graduate jobs. Founded in 2012, the charity provides eligible undergraduates with a personalised support programme focused on employability-enhancing activities – including exclusive professional work experiences, mentoring, CV reviews, mock interviews, skills workshops and more.

The Investment Springboard programme is designed to help eligible university students looking to apply to roles in the investment management sector explore their career options, increase their employability, widen their professional network, and – ultimately – to secure top opportunities within the industry.

Bruin has partnered with upReach for a number of years supports their work to create the conditions for undergraduates from less-advantaged backgrounds to access and sustain top graduate jobs.

This year, upReach programmes will provide tailored support to over 2,000 students from across the UK, helping them to broaden their horizons, understand career pathways and develop the skills, networks and experiences needed for career success.
