A leading London Market insurance firm is looking to hire an ambitious Account Handler to join their Energy Division, offering a clear and structured pathway into a Broking role in the near future.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career who is looking to build toward a Broker position, gaining exposure to complex, international energy risks within a high-performing team.
The Role
You’ll support experienced Brokers in the placement and servicing of Energy business, while developing the technical skills and market knowledge required to step into a broking role.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the day-to-day servicing of an Energy portfolio
- Assisting with renewals, new business and market submissions
- Preparing slips, presentations and client documentation
- Liaising with underwriters and internal stakeholders
- Maintaining accurate records and systems in line with company processes
- Ensuring compliance with FCA regulations and internal standards
What They’re Looking For
- 1–3 years’ experience within an Account Handling / Broking support role
- London Market exposure (Energy experience beneficial but not essential)
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Confident communication skills
- A genuine desire to move into Broking
- Progress towards CII qualifications is advantageous
