BYP Network – Finance Unmasked

Bruin was proud to sponsor the Black Young Professional (BYP) Network event “Finance Unmasked”. BYP Network helps to connect ambitious future leaders within the Black community for for networking, mentoring, peer collaborations and career development.

Held in central London, over 100 young Black professionals attended to listen to a expert panel discuss the challenges of working in Finance and navigating your career through the industry.

Panelists:

Abdul Buhari: Abdul is an Olympian and finance professional with over 10 years experience working in Risk and Relationship management at Credit Suisse. Growing up in a tough Brixton estate, Abdul broke down numerous barriers to compete at the London 2012 Olympics and excel in Finance. His story is one you wouldn’t want to miss.

Kehinde Oluwo: Kehinde is the HSBC Performance Management Lead where she guides the careers of many top performers in the banking industry. As a Durham University graduate she boasts over 19 years industry experience and has worked for prestigious firms like IBM, Lloyds and Barclays; so come ready to learn!

Collins Ogundayisi: Collins is a passionate HR professional. With a CV boasting names like KPMG, Amazon, Cancer Research UK and Morgan Stanley, he has the knowledge and experience that will help you plot your path to a successful career in finance. An avid reader, he believes that you need to have access to the tools and knowledge to succeed.
