Thomas has over 20 years of recruitment experience within the Lloyd’s and London insurance market specialising in Broking, Underwriting and Claims roles. Prior to recruitment, Thomas began his career in the insurance industry at the global broker Marsh, within its market lead Energy team as an Account Handler covering On and Offshore programmes, before joining AAAIRB, a reinsurance broking house.

Thomas then joined Hillman Saunders, a boutique recruitment consultancy focusing on all Lloyd’s and London Market placements into Broking Houses, Syndicates, Insurers and MGA’s covering all lines of business. Thomas spent 15 years with Hillman Saunders, progressing to General Manager.

Joining Bruin in 2019, Thomas manages our Lloyd’s and London Market team mirroring his offering to his loyal clientele and candidate base from previous years. Thomas successfully assists in the placement of Technical and Transactional roles from A’ Level leavers to Managing Director from both a contingent recruitment and retained search perspective.
