Lawrence started his career in search in 2011, and has since worked with a variety of financial institutions on hires across front office and risk and controls departments.
In 2018, Lawrence joined a boutique search firm in London, leading the corporate governance search team. He relocated to the United States in 2021 and having joined Bruin in 2024, Lawrence currently leads our North America team, based out of New York City.
Lawrence primarily partners with alternative investment funds on hiring outside of trading, investment and technology teams. This includes quasi-investment functions such as portfolio risk and construction, credit research, quantitative analytics, as well as legal and compliance.
