Billing & Collection Specialist
I am partnering with a specialist Insurance organisation that is seeking a Billing & Collection Specialist to join their finance operations team. This is a great role for someone who enjoys financial accuracy, process improvement and supporting both internal teams and external customers.
The Role
You will manage receivables, payables and trust account compliance across a portfolio of programmes. You will also act as a point of contact for financial queries and work closely with internal colleagues to ensure smooth processes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Applying and reconciling payments
• Preparing monthly financial reports
• Handling enquiries regarding invoices and payments
• Monitoring data feeds and resolving discrepancies
• Managing receivables and following structured collection processes
• Ensuring compliance across all financial requirements
• Providing training when financial data errors occur
• Validating trust accounts
• Supporting improvement initiatives
• Documenting customer interactions
Skills & Experience Required:
• Strong attention to financial detail
• Experience in customer-focused or technical finance within the Insurance market
• Highly organised with excellent prioritisation skills
• Clear and confident communication style
• Able to work independently and collaboratively
• Intermediate Excel skills
