Billing & Collection Specialist

I am partnering with a specialist Insurance organisation that is seeking a Billing & Collection Specialist to join their finance operations team. This is a great role for someone who enjoys financial accuracy, process improvement and supporting both internal teams and external customers.

The Role

You will manage receivables, payables and trust account compliance across a portfolio of programmes. You will also act as a point of contact for financial queries and work closely with internal colleagues to ensure smooth processes.

Key Responsibilities:

 â€¢ Applying and reconciling payments

 â€¢ Preparing monthly financial reports

 â€¢ Handling enquiries regarding invoices and payments

 â€¢ Monitoring data feeds and resolving discrepancies

 â€¢ Managing receivables and following structured collection processes

 â€¢ Ensuring compliance across all financial requirements

 â€¢ Providing training when financial data errors occur

 â€¢ Validating trust accounts

 â€¢ Supporting improvement initiatives

 â€¢ Documenting customer interactions

Skills & Experience Required:

 â€¢ Strong attention to financial detail

• Experience in customer-focused or technical finance within the Insurance market

 â€¢ Highly organised with excellent prioritisation skills

 â€¢ Clear and confident communication style

 â€¢ Able to work independently and collaboratively

 â€¢ Intermediate Excel skills

Ref: 44029 Underwriter – Construction & Liability A well established and growing UK Managing General Agent is seeking an experienced Underwriter to join its London-based underwriting team. This role focuses on underwriting construction and contracting risks under delegated binding authority from A-rated insurer partners.
