Senior Claims Advocate (12-Month Fixed Term Contract)
London / Hybrid (2–3 days in the office)
Full-time, with flexible working considered
A respected specialty insurance brokerage is seeking an experienced Senior Claims Advocate to join its Professional, Financial and Cyber claims team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role is ideally suited to a broker-side claims professional who enjoys acting as a trusted advocate for clients while working closely with insurers and internal placing teams.
The successful candidate will manage claims from initial notification through to settlement, providing clear, confident and strategic claims advocacy on behalf of clients. You will review policy coverage and wordings, assess risk, prepare and present claims submissions to insurers, and proactively manage insurer engagement to achieve timely and positive outcomes. You will also maintain strong relationships with clients, insurers, legal advisors and internal stakeholders, and produce claims reporting to support renewals and wider account management.
Applicants should have three to five years’ experience handling Professional Indemnity, Financial Lines or D&O claims within a brokerage environment. You will be confident using ECF, comfortable working with Microsoft Office applications, and able to communicate effectively with clients and markets. You should be organised, resilient and capable of managing a varied workload in a fast-paced broker setting.
In return, the business offers a competitive salary, hybrid and flexible working arrangements, a 10% employer pension contribution, private medical insurance, a generous annual leave allowance and participation in an annual bonus scheme.
