Job Title: Divisional Director – Claims (Construction & Real Estate)
Location: London (Hybrid – Office & Home Based)
Salary: Up to £120,000
Overview:
My client, a leading ambitious Lloyd’s Broking house is seeking an experienced Divisional Director to lead its Claims function within the Construction & Real Estate segment. This is a senior leadership role responsible for managing complex global claims, leading a high-performing team, and delivering outstanding client service.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the Construction & Real Estate claims team, ensuring exceptional service delivery.

Handle complex claims across Builders Risk, General Liability, Professional Liability, CAR, and Surety Bonds.

Provide technical expertise and strategic claims advice to clients and colleagues.

Maintain and grow strong client and market relationships.
-
Drive team performance, development, recruitment, and training.
-
Contribute to business development and support retention and growth initiatives.
About You:
-
8+ years’ experience in construction claims (broker, insurer, or loss adjuster).

Strong leadership and team management skills.
-
Proven experience in complex, global construction claims.
-
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
-
CERT CII or ACII (preferred but not essential).
