Role: Broker Support – Europe
Location: Netherlands / Amsterdam
Reports to: Director

I’m partnering with a well-established, international (re)insurance group to hire a Broker Support professional for their European team. You’ll sit close to the action, supporting brokers across specialty lines, while gaining exposure to underwriters, clients, and colleagues across multiple EU markets. The environment is collaborative, professional, and growth-minded.

What you’ll do

  • End-to-end broker support: prepare market documentation (slips, endorsements), renewal packs, quotes, and mid-term adjustments.
  • Data & accuracy: maintain complete files and records (correspondence, call notes, premium allocations) and ensure risk entry is accurate on internal systems.
  • Client & underwriter touchpoints: liaise professionally with clients, underwriters, and global teams; help drive day to day service standards.
  • Binding authority support: compile presentations and analyse data for new/renewal binding authorities and open market placements; monitor and distribute bordereaux.
  • Governance: follow internal procedures, EU and market regulations (including Lloyd’s), and contribute to continuous improvement.

What you’ll bring

  • Language: Fluency in Dutch & English (additional EU languages are a plus).
  • Background: Internship or 1+ year in financial services (insurance ideal, but not essential) with a solid grasp of how the market works.
  • Tools: Confident with MS Office; exposure to broking systems (e.g., Novidea/Global XB), Whitespace, PPL is a bonus.
  • Strengths: High attention to detail, calm and clear communicator, organized, deadline reliable, and collaborative.
  • Conduct: Integrity, diligence, client fairness, and strong market conduct.

What’s in it for you

  • Learning curve: meaningful exposure to specialty/E&S workflows and binding authority mechanics.
  • International reach: work with underwriters and colleagues across Europe.
  • Progression: a team that invests in technical development and career growth.
