A Leading British Asset Manager is looking to hire a Senior Analyst in their FP&A team, playing a vital role in driving strategic decision through providing in-depth financial insights. This role joins a collaborative and growing team in a firm with fantastic internal culture.

Job Title: Senior FP&A Analyst
Location: London (Hybrid – 3 days in office per week)
Industry: Asset Management
Duration: Permanent
Salary: £55,000 – £65,000

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver clear and actionable insights into the business’ financial performance and profitability.
  • Producing in-depth Management Information to guide decision-making and enable senior stakeholders to understand financial outcomes.
  • Play an active role in forecasting and shaping the annual business plan.
  • Support the monthly P&L process by pinpointing the key drivers behind variances.
  • Anticipate stakeholder needs with a proactive approach, offering forward-thinking solutions and building collaborative partnerships to provide insight and constructive challenge that enhances decision making.

Preferred background:

  • Essential:
    • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)
    • Experience within the Asset Management industry and a strong interest in the space.
    • Proven experience of business partnering across multiple areas of the business.
    • Strong interpersonal and communications skills, capable of building collaborative relationships with a mix of internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
  • Desirable:
    • Experience of continuous improvement of processes, with a focus on process automation.
    • Capable of working to tight deadlines, working both autonomously and as part of a larger team.
    • Proactive approach to problem solving and thorough attention to detail.
