I am working with one of the world’s largest Investment Banks to hire a Director within their Regulatory Capital Reporting team. The team is responsible for producing the Capital Reporting, providing Capital Impact Analysis to Front Line Units on new products, migrating clients, and a number of other projects, as well as contributing to Capital Planning alongside other teams. The team is spread across UK, Europe and India and covers entities in both the UK and EU.

Responsibilities:
- Regulatory Capital Reporting: Oversee EU and UK capital calculations, including RWA analysis and reporting for multiple prudentially regulated entities.
- External & Internal Reporting: Prepare and present quarterly regulatory returns, perform reconciliations, variance analysis, and support internal capital reporting processes.
- System Development & Testing: Contribute to both BAU and strategic system development initiatives, including defining requirements, testing, and implementing regulatory technology changes.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with Front Office, Risk, and Compliance teams, and respond to requests from internal and external stakeholders, including regulators.
- Governance & Controls: Support internal controls, including documentation, operational error reporting, and end-user computing (EUC) controls.
- Continuous Improvement: Lead process improvements, issue remediation, and participate in ad hoc projects related to new regulatory requirements and infrastructure enhancements.
The Ideal Candidate will have:
- An Accountancy Qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with strong knowledge of accounting concepts, or a relevant degree.
- An in-depth understanding of prudential reporting across key risks, mainly Market Risk and Credit Risk, and an interest and talent for developing an understanding of regulatory rules and frameworks.
- Working experience of Pillar 3 and CoRep disclosures.
- The ability to work independently and take ownership, proven analytical skills, and strong attention to detail.
- Experience with regulatory applications (primarily Axiom).
