Client Manager – Private Equity/ Alternative Investments Business

Central London

I have partnered exclusively with my client, an established and growing Private Equity/ Alternative Investments Business who are seeking to onboard a Client Manager into their Private Clients Management team. This full-time role involves delivering a professional client service to Private/ UHNW clientele, managing existing relationships, and actively contributing to fund raises. Reporting to the Client Director, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in building and maintaining strong client relationships.

Responsibilities:

– Manage existing client relationships, including face-to-face meetings and addressing queries.

– Participate in client seminars and events to strengthen relationships with clients.

– Contribute to the business strategy for client management.

– Build new relationships, convert leads, and ensure a smooth onboarding process for newly registered clients.

– Oversee accurate and robust KYC processes for new clients, promptly addressing any issues or risks.

– Lead the distribution of new Private Equity and Alternative investment opportunities to clients.

– Develop close working relationships with internal teams, including client services, marketing, and compliance.

– Network and build business relationships with external connections.

Skills & Knowledge Requirements:

– Experience in Client Management/Relationship roles, preferably with a focus on private HNW/UHNW individuals and family offices.

– Track record of building a client base and forming lasting business relationships.

– Strong communication skills (verbal and written).

– Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.

– Strong organisational skills, flexibility, and adaptability.

– Understanding of FCA Regulatory framework.

– Experience and understanding of Private Equity/Alternative instruments, funds, and property investment areas (desirable, not essential).
