The firm operates at the top end of the market, advising sophisticated global investors on portfolio strategy and implementation.
This is a commercially focused role sitting at the intersection of business development, client engagement, and investment solutions. You will work closely with both client-facing and investment teams, playing a key role in driving new opportunities and deepening existing relationships. The position would suit an individual with a strong grounding in institutional investments who is looking to step into a more externally facing, revenue-aligned role with significant exposure to senior stakeholders and global markets.
The successful candidate will be involved in:
- Supporting business development strategy across insurance clients and prospects internationally
- Partnering with senior stakeholders across client solutions and investment teams to originate and progress opportunities
- Preparing high-quality client materials, including pitchbooks, presentations, and tailored proposal responses
- Leading and coordinating responses to RFPs and other competitive tender processes
- Conducting targeted research to identify new opportunities, market trends, and competitor positioning
- Participating in client and prospect meetings, contributing to discussions and follow-up actions
- Managing and tracking pipeline activity, ensuring accurate reporting and visibility across teams
- Coordinating internal briefing sessions and ensuring investment teams are well-prepared for client engagement
- Supporting brand-building initiatives through industry events, conferences, and networking
- Developing relationships across key centres of influence, including intermediaries and advisors
The ideal candidate should have:
- Experience in asset management, investment consulting, or a related financial services environment
- Exposure to institutional clients (e.g. insurance, pensions, or similar sophisticated investors)
- Strong understanding of investment strategies and portfolio construction principles
- Proven ability to produce high-quality written materials for client-facing purposes
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with confidence engaging senior stakeholders
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- A proactive, commercially minded approach with a focus on delivering outcomes
- Ability to operate both independently and as part of a collaborative, global team
- High attention to detail and a structured approach to managing processes and workflows
