Cyber Services Manager
London

We’re partnering with a market-leading insurer to find a senior cyber professional to take ownership of a genuinely differentiated Proactive Cyber Services offering that has seen significant growth over the last three years.

This is a rare opportunity to step into a visible, strategic role at the intersection of cyber risk, client advisory, underwriting and analytics – taking an already high-performing proposition and helping scale it further.

Sitting within a broader Insights & Analytics function, this role will lead the evolution of a proactive cyber capability that helps clients reduce risk in a practical, measurable way. The team draws on a genuinely powerful mix of underwriting data, real-world incident learnings, threat intelligence, outside-in scanning and financial impact analysis – turning that insight into services that security leaders actually value.

The successful individual will play a central role in shaping the vision, roadmap and operating model for the function, while working closely with Underwriting, Claims, Incident Response and Analytics leadership. This is not a pure thought leadership role, nor is it a narrow technical specialist post – it needs someone who can build scalable client services, translate cyber intelligence into underwriting value, and credibly engage senior client stakeholders including CISOs.

Key areas of focus will include:

  • Helping lead and evolve the global proactive cyber services strategy
  • Supporting and developing a high-performing specialist capability
  • Building out threat and risk intelligence across internal and external data sources
  • Designing client-facing services including tabletop exercises, awareness sessions, reporting and remediation guidance
  • Partnering with underwriting to enhance risk selection, guidelines, portfolio insight and loss prevention
  • Helping shape data-led tooling, workflows and measurable outcomes across the cyber portfolio
  • Managing vendor relationships across threat intelligence and scanning solutions
  • Acting as a visible voice internally and externally on emerging cyber threats and pragmatic risk reduction

We’re keen to speak with individuals who bring a strong mix of cyber expertise, commercial judgement and stakeholder management capability. That could mean someone already operating in a similar insurance role, or someone coming from a cyber consultancy, intelligence, security vendor or advisory environment with the credibility and appetite to step into a broader market-facing role.

The ideal background will likely include:

  • Strong cyber domain knowledge across threat intelligence, exposure management and security controls
  • Experience building or delivering proactive cyber services, advisory programmes or risk solutions
  • The ability to translate complex technical insights into practical, commercially relevant action
  • Confidence engaging both internal stakeholders and senior external clients
  • Familiarity with cyber frameworks, threat models, attack surfaces and defensive strategies
  • Exposure to tools or platforms across scanning, threat intelligence or cyber analytics
  • A genuine passion for staying close to emerging threats and market developments
  • Comfort working with data and analytics to inform decision-making and service development

This is an outstanding opportunity for someone who wants to play a key role in shaping a best-in-class cyber proposition in a position with real visibility, influence and scope.
