Wordings Specialist – Lloyd’s Market (Leading Global Broker)
This is a rare opportunity to step into a pivotal Wordings role within a market-leading Lloyd’s Broker, shaping how coverage is negotiated, structured, and delivered to clients across complex risk placements.
We’re partnering with a highly respected, globally recognised broking house seeking a Wordings Specialist to join their established Technical Wordings function.
In this role, you’ll sit at the centre of broker–insurer–client interaction, ensuring policy language accurately reflects placement intent. You’ll draft and negotiate bespoke clauses, review underwriters’ wordings, support renewal and new business tenders, and provide technical oversight across facilities, lineslips, and delegated authorities.
You will act as a trusted advisor to Account Executives and Producers, bringing clarity to complex coverage positions while safeguarding contractual integrity and regulatory alignment.
We’re looking for someone with:
-
Proven ability to draft, negotiate, and interpret complex policy wordings
-
Confidence engaging directly with underwriters on coverage negotiations
-
Deep understanding of contract certainty, governance, and product oversight
-
A collaborative, solutions-focused mindset with the credibility to advise senior stakeholders
You’ll work closely with broking teams and insurers alike, helping to enhance our client's technical capability and maintain the highest standards of wording governance across multiple product lines.
If you’re someone who values precision in language, enjoys influencing negotiations at a senior level, and wants to play a visible role within a leading Lloyd’s Broker – this is well worth a conversation.
