Senior RFP Writer

We are working with a highly regarded global asset management firm to appoint a Senior RFP Executive to join its international distribution function. This is a senior, specialist role for an experienced RFP professional who will act as a lead writer for institutional clients, delivering high-quality, bespoke responses across RFPs, RFIs, DDQs, and complex questionnaires.

The role sits within a global RFP and automation team and offers meaningful scope to influence best practice, process improvement, and the use of technology and AI to enhance the client experience. You will work closely with senior sales professionals, portfolio managers, and subject-matter experts across multiple investment capabilities and global boutiques.

The successful candidate will be involved in:

• Leading the production of high-quality, highly customised RFP, RFI, DDQ, and survey responses for institutional clients
• Partnering closely with sales and portfolio management teams to ensure accuracy, relevance, and client focus
• Developing bespoke institutional content and adapting materials for wholesale audiences where required
• Collaborating with global RFP colleagues to enhance processes, workflows, and technology solutions
• Leveraging automation and AI tools to improve efficiency and elevate the quality of client deliverables
• Maintaining and regularly reviewing RFP database content to ensure accuracy, relevance, and regulatory alignment
• Editing and quality-checking submissions to ensure all outputs meet best-in-class standards
• Contributing to senior-level projects and broader distribution initiatives on an ad hoc basis
• Ensuring all activity complies with regulatory requirements and internal governance standards

The ideal candidate should have:

• Extensive experience in an institutional RFP role within asset management
• Strong technical knowledge across asset classes, ideally equities
• Confidence working directly with portfolio managers and senior investment professionals
• High levels of numeracy, analytical capability, and attention to detail
• A proven ability to manage complex workloads independently and deliver against tight deadlines
• A collaborative mindset with experience operating in specialist, high-performing teams
• A strong interest in technology, automation, and process optimisation within RFP functions
• A CFA charter or equivalent professional qualification (beneficial but not essential)
