Project Engineer – 12-Month Contract (Outside IR35)
Global Accountancy Firm | Fully Remote
I am partnering with a leading global accountancy firm that is currently undertaking an ambitious integration programme across multiple M&A pipelines. We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join on an initial 12-month contract, operating fully remotely and outside IR35.
The Role
You will play a key role in delivering infrastructure and services workstreams aligned to ongoing M&A activity. This position requires a strong blend of hands-on technical capability and structured project management experience, ensuring seamless integration across environments, systems, and services.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and support technical workstreams related to infrastructure integration across multiple acquisitions.

Work closely with project managers, architects, and technical SMEs to deliver high-quality outcomes.

Contribute to planning, execution, and delivery phases of integration projects.

Provide technical expertise to resolve issues across infrastructure and services domains.

Produce documentation, reports, and progress updates for stakeholders.
Required Experience

Strong infrastructure and services background, ideally within complex or global enterprise environments.

Proven experience supporting M&A integrations

Solid project management capability with the ability to drive delivery and manage stakeholders.

Hands-on experience with Citrix and VMware (highly desirable).

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
