We are looking for experienced, enthusiastic and motivated people who will be responsible for providing best practice advice to a broad range of customers looking to receive information or quotations about a variety of protection products; life insurance, income protection and critical illness. Previous experience of advising consumers on life insurance, mortgages or other similar financial services is essential - minimum 12 months experience. Plus, once you have found your feet, youll be expected to support the development of our new trainees.
The role for the Insurance Advisor includes:
This is a telephone-based role, but there is no cold calling. All leads are generated in-house.
The products you will be offering to customers include Income Protection, Life Insurance and Critical Illness Cover.
You will be required to complete a thorough Fact Find with the client and present a recommendation on the appropriate cover plan, with a view to completing the sale.
You will follow up with the client and be responsible for ongoing account management, ensuring a high customer retention rate.
Being clear and transparent is paramount at all times.
We reward our Insurance Advisors who adhere to and achieve the highest of standards in terms of compliance, as set by the regulator (Financial Conduct Authority).
For this Insurance Advisor role you will need:
A minimum of 2 years experience in Life insurance, with a proven track record of success, ideally within the financial services sector.
A confident and friendly telephone manner, ideally with sales experience, although full training will be given.
A positive, can-do attitude.
Excellent listening skills.
£30,000 - £32,000 - OTE £55,000 +
25 days holiday plus bank holidays
Office hours, no late nights or weekends
