An investment company specialising in the media, infrastructure and real estate sectors is looking for a Business Development Associate to support business development and administrative activities.
Work alongside the Client Relationship Team and work with the wider group to successfully take investment opportunities to market.
Build strong telephone based client relationships and offer an alternative point of contact.
Produce client research for the Business Development Manager before client meetings.
Contact prospective clients and set up meetings on behalf of the Business Development Managers.
Help prepare presentations, financial illustrations and other material for client meetings.
Hold follow up calls from meetings and client events, create leads and schedule meetings.
Manage the pipeline of sales opportunities by keeping CRM up to date.
Manage and maintain working relationships to ensure the timely processing of client applications.
Maintain the CRM system to ensure accuracy of client details.
Build and maintain relationships with Advisers.
Position yourself as a trusted business partner.
Knowledge and experience of providing business support is preferable.
A strong communicator and great relationship builder.
A strong academic record is advantageous.
Numerate, with an interest in investments.
Develop an understanding of complex investment products and the needs of investors.
A strong influencer who can use this skill in order to achieve success.
A team player.
A driven and ambitious with the desire to achieve results.
