A boutique fundraising and advisory business for alternatives, private capital and specialist long only managers is looking for a Senior Sales Director to join its London office team.
Engage with third party capital and on a day to day basis manage Client projects.
Increase capital from identified professional investors targeting key stakeholders during the process.
Take the lead on projects and meet with partner managers to get a greater understanding of their strategies.
Manage and maintain internal relationships with other teams to increase collaboration.
Prepare supporting documents and suggest where improvement is needed in existing documents.
Have a strong understanding of current markets and what is going on, as well as a very strong understanding of active investors.
Third Party Capital Engagements
Relationship Management of Existing professional investors
Manage New Manager Partners and their progress
Follow-up with interested third party capital
Provide support once external capital has established interest in mandates.
Act as a facilitator, pushing to close the investments.
Update investors who have committed to the firms projects.
A large network of key decision makers from the Capital Holders sector is also ideal.
Experience in raising private assets funds, real asset funds and / or global alternatives strategies.
Solid knowledge of the alternative investments sector including private equity strategies.
Great at forming and developing long-term relationships, as well as being able to sell and close deals.
High levels of maturity to deal well with Professional Capital Holders including Family Offices.
Entrepreneurial spirit someone who wants develop the growth of the firm in terms of size and reputation.
The IMC or completed CAIA Level I is ideal plus a Bachelors degree.
