An active asset managers based in London is looking for a head of strategic alliances who is responsible for generating new fund sales.

Key responsibilities:
• Develop and manage relationships with vital decision makers to gain fund positions on panels for the accounts.
• Maintain and improve relationships with all decision makers to gain fund ratings and panel positions.
• Make sure relationships with the sales team are strong to enhance collective sales from the advisory market.
• Manage a team of two, having regular 1 to 1 meetings, monitoring their performance and setting objectives.
• Develop and maintain relationships with business’s that supply you with risk management support as well as data which includes distribution technology to increase sales across all channels as a collective.

Key requirements:
• Aware and knowledge about the UK advisory market.
• Good experience in people management.
• Previous experience in a similar role.
• Worked previously with the firm’s sales people.
• Budget management.
• High amounts of business acumen.
• Fast learner who is both resourceful and adaptable.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
