One of our investment management clients is currently seeking an individual who would join their Business Development team in South London as a Vice President.

This firm has a track record of meeting the investment objectives of central banks, sovereign funds and pension funds on a global basis and has an long-lasting commitment to building lasting partnerships that leverage their distinctive expertise across asset classes.

The successful candidate should have a track record of success selling to and building relationships within the institutional marketplace.

Key responsibilities will include:
•Communicating the investment philosophy, process, and performance of specific equity products in both a client service and sales capacity
•Independently act as a “proxy” for portfolio managers by serving as the main investment contact for clients and/or intermediaries in the region
•Participate in investment strategy meetings/calls with portfolio managers
•Collaborate with teammates across the organisation (business development, marketing, portfolio specialists, etc.) on messaging product set and marketplace

Key requirements:
•Previous success establishing client relationships with senior level professional buyers and decision makers (Pensions, Central Banks, Sovereign Wealth and Official Institutions).
•Exposure to the institutional marketplace in Sub-Saharan Africa, the Caribbean or South East Asia
• Knowledge of global and financial markets, modern portfolio theory, and performance attribution
•Degree educated or equivalent in Business, Finance or Economics
