A specialist global asset manager is looking for a team manager for a group of business analyst's and developers. This is a permanent position and you will be expected lead projects and to support a team of technical BA's focused on cross divisional change projects.
Prioritisation of team resource and allocation out to the business as required
Oversight of the Change Calendar
Review processes and procedures both across the business but also 3rd parties and suggest/manage change where required.
The BA team are responsible for supporting the successful delivery of projects for front office. The focus is on business initiatives related to products (i.e. fund launches, mergers and closures) and operational change and readiness
Work proactively with the business to determine scope and understand the requirements in terms of operational support for new products.
Lead the definition of the target operational model.
Work with external parties for example (Custodians/TPAs/Depositories) to define and implement the new fund through to go live.
Person will ideally be from a BA background as will on occasion need to get their hands dirty
AM background preferred but will consider most relevant FS backgrounds
Strong knowledge of FO process/ regs and trade lifecycle
We will also need you to be able to influence a wide variety of business users to adapt existing processes and be capable of facilitating medium to large sized workshops and meetings with senior stakeholders.
Previous experience of delivering business projects and proven track record of delivery in all phases of the project lifecycle, is key to this role.
