Project Manager - Fund Launch

Our client is recruiting for a Project Manager. The candidate will be asked to lead all operational aspects of the fund Launches, this includes middle, back office and Fund administrator impacts. The candidate should have experience of managing external Fund Administrators for both UCITS and Hedge funds.

Key Responsibilities:
Project planning and monitoring
Assisting business Operational workstream leaders to construct and monitor plans
Act as a cross Operational workstream contact
Present solutions to external parties
Construct full businesses cases
Design and construct business operating models

Key Skills:
Proven track record on Fund Launches both European and US (private and 40 Act)
Management of external partners and suppliers
Exposure to derivatives instruments and market practice / processes
Excellent communication skills – verbal, written and presentation
Independent of thought – able to work independently yet judge when to consult
Construct business operating models
Ideally the candidate will have a minimum 5 years hands-on experience project manager experience – delivery of derivatives project is an advantage
Experience fund launches, including dependences and risks
Experience of operational support for launching UCITS funds
Experience of operational support for launching Hedge funds (AIFMD)
Experience of US fund vehicle launches an advantage (40Act, Collective Trusts and private funds)
