Duties and Responsibilities
Operate as a key character in the cooperation with other members in the contingency team, as well as the coordinating of contingency events.
Serve as a consultant internally for the successful carrying out of contingency plans and testing, observing to ensure alignment with the corporate framework.
Working towards improving business resiliency by cooperating with other parties.
Analysing business processes and implementing positive change to influence business continuity.
Communicating effectively to management about progress of the contingency program.
Producing a high standard of work for all documentation produced.
Implements and maintains BCP policies and guidelines for all business units to follow.
Ongoing support and development of approved contingency planning tools.
Maintain and continue to develop an awareness of business continuity and disaster recovery issues.
Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
Two years of relevant experience.
Capability of working both flexibly and independently.
Experience leading cross functional/departmental project teams.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical, problem solving and project management skills.
Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
Strong consultative skills.
Working knowledge of MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Project, Visio, SharePoint and Outlook).
