BRUIN financial is working with a leading, global asset management company. They are looking for a Portfolio Administrator to join their team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with financial instruments such as Equities and Bonds.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor settlement activity of all Operations group accounts with a strong focus on Equities component.
Liaise with the Trading desk and execution brokers to resolve any trade discrepancies.
Analyse all settlement reporting from all custodians on a daily basis.
Actively investigate trade breaks and assist with being central point of contact for trade break settlement queries.
Ensure trades settle in a timely manner and escalate where appropriate.
Work on broker onboarding and new market opening.
Update internal systems and trade matching platforms as required.
Portfolio administrator for Equities portfolios.
Resolve cash and security reconciliation breaks on a daily basis.
Perform NAV calculation and reconciliation with the administrator of the funds.
Ensure timely resolution of internal and external queries.
Act as main point of contact for the Investment & Risk team for any operational matters.
Adhoc project work to increase automation and improve efficiency.

The successful candidate will have:

A keen eye for detail and strong communication skills.
The ability to work independently and prioritise different tasks in a deadline driven environment.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Motivated and willing to learn.
Able to work in a team and independently.
Strong sense of values and ethics.
