BRUIN financial is working with a leading, global investment management company. They are looking for a Regulatory Reporting Analyst to join their team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role, including two or more years’ experience as a project administrator.

Key Responsibilities:

Supports the regulatory reporting process to ensure accurately and timely reporting is met.
Ensure the transmission of reporting files to appropriate parties and independently resolve issues and manage exceptions.
Leverage knowledge of regulations, financial markets, instruments, and drivers to independently identify and resolve reporting issues.
Understand regulatory reporting requirements and their impacts on the firm.
Ensure the successful submission of data to regulators and partners through the timely resolution of exceptions.
Perform key controls over processes and escalate issues as appropriate.
Resolve problems independently and exercise judgment in elevating material issues.
Recognize opportunities, recommend process improvements and implement proper solutions to gain efficiencies and ensure quality.
Serve as a resource to the department and willingly share expertise.
Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.

The successful candidate will have:

Undergraduate degree in business discipline or equivalent combination of training and experience is desirable.
Strong working knowledge of computer applications such as Excel and Access.
Demonstrated ability to function in a fast paced, ambiguous environment working with multiple and diverse responsibilities.
Strong work ethic. Demonstrated willingness to contribute to the overall success of the unit.
Strong relationship management skills with internal and external clients.
