BRUIN financial is working with a leading, global investment management company. They are looking for a Valuations Assistant Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience with valuations gained in a professional services environment.
Liaising with clients and internal team to establish and communicate work scopes.
Performing valuation analysis using various valuation approaches and methodologies.
Researching industry trends, comparable companies and transactions.
Attending and contributing at client meetings, where appropriate.
Building and improving valuation models.
Maintenance of team credentials database.
Assistance in preparing proposals for new opportunities.
Assistance in the development and execution of business development initiatives.
Delegation and oversight of work to junior staff.
The successful candidate will have:
Experience of valuation methodologies and modelling, including a history of providing these in a range of sectors.
Up-to-date working knowledge of key valuation methodologies and best practice in modelling.
Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills in the creation of our valuation models and in preparing relevant reports, a high competency in these formats is vital to provide a robust and creative output
An appetite to be involved in business development activities and a willingness to develop these skills
Educated to degree level or equivalent.
A relevant professional qualification, for example Chartered Accountant or Corporate Finance Diploma is desirable although not essential.
