An opportunity to provide an advisory and compliance role for regulatory aspects across the whole business, ensuring best practice and adherence to Companys compliance and regulatory policies and procedures.
Previous Experience/Education: Experience working in an insurance Broking or Lloyds Compliance environment.
Role Functions include:
Maintain high level of knowledge and understanding of UK regulations, including the FCA Handbook, money laundering regulations.
Monitoring Anti-Money laundering policies and procedures, monitoring Financial Crime and Criminal Finances Act 2017, ongoing monitoring of Insurance Distribution Directive Compliance ( IDD) , Sanctions Testing protocols.
Monitoring Conflicts of Interest, Treating Customers Fairly, Conduct Risk and Risk Assessments and GDPR.
Prepare quarterly Compliance reports for Board of Directors meetings.
Minute Taker of the various internal Committees.
Updating, rolling out and writing compliance policies and standards with the line manager. Working closely with HR.
Work closely with the Finance team to ensure Statutory Audits completed on time.
Work closely with other departmental managers to make improvements to systems and controls in order to correct any operational deficiencies.
Ensuring that all Communication from Lloyds, FCA, LIIBA and BIBA is communicated to all employees.
Ensuring processes and procedures are up to FCA standards to meet regulatory requirements.
Investigating all complaints and report to Lloyds, FOS or other relevant organisations.
Overseeing the compliance training and induction of new employees working closely with HR to ensure that all employees are competent and completing their 15 hours of IDD training.
Knowledge Required includes:
Knowledge of international ABC and FCA Rules and Regulations
Keeping up to date with all relevant and compliance related legislation.
