A dynamic Insurance Broker is now seeking a diligent and focused Compliance Officer with a strong UK Regulation experience to support the Compliance department.
The Compliance Officer will be:
responsible for developing, implementing and administering all aspects of the company's compliance.
organising and overseeing the day-to-day administrative and operational compliance activities;
collaborating with the Senior Management in the overall administration of these directives for the company.
Advising Senior Management and personnel on emerging compliance issues and consulting and guiding the company in the establishment of controls to mitigate risks with a particular focus on Companys services.
input into regulatory policies and discussing compliance breaches and remedial action;
Desired Skills and Experience
Experience within Financial companies or working within a regulated environment.
High degree of diligence and understanding of policy and procedures;
Tenacity to investigate areas of concern
An ability to interpret, understand, maintain and advise the business on a broad range or legal and regulatory issues
Experience preferably in compliance in a financial environment.
Excellent Communication skills
Ability to Multitask
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to work in teams and independently.
Ability to exercise discretion in the handling of confidential information
Confident and competent to exercise a degree of autonomy and independent judgement
Job type: permanent, full-time.
