Reporting to the Regional Head of Internal Audit the role provides support to the Regional Heads and the Group Head of Internal Audit implementing risk-based audit plans for the Group.
Working as part of a team assessing and evaluating key risks and controls, the Senior Auditor will play a key role in audit delivery, developing key business relationships, and influencing positive change in the Groups' internal control environment.
To be successful in this role you must be familiar with and capable of applying relevant Institute of Internal Audit standards and bring to the role relevant financial, operational, risk and/or insurance sector skills and experience, including a good working knowledge of the insurance industry regulatory landscape in the UK and/or Internationally.
Specialist insurance broking knowledge would be advantageous, and your ability to combine technical audit skills with an ability to build effective relationships will help make you successful in this role. Your willingness to challenge management in order to influence positive change is integral.
In addition a professional qualification in audit, accounting and/or relevant industry profession is sought.
