One of out top tier Investment banking clients is seeking a product controller to join their team to you will primarily be tasked with proving an effective link between Front Office (FO) and other stakeholders within the wider Finance team, bringing specialist product knowledge into the arena, so that any disagreements in daily P&L are resolved on a timely basis & ultimate P&L agreement with FO is achieved, evidenced & logged.
You will be the primary producer of book level actual P&L within NPV environment
Justification of P&L via daily risk-based decomposition, utilising the Greeks and new trade analysis
Reconciliation of P&L to traders estimates
To ensure integrity of the banks books & records, including reconciliation to banks ledger systems
Reporting of consolidated results to senior management including appropriate valuation adjustments
To ensure the Product Control team & stakeholders are immediately aware of revaluation issues that may affect downstream activity.
Production of ad-hoc reporting as required by Front Office & senior management
Involvement in key change management projects to deliver improvements to our daily processes
To ensure PC remains & is seen to be an independent control function.
To support and provide training to the junior members of the team.

Notes Issuance, OTC Interest Rate Options
Single & Cross Currency Interest rate Swaps
Exchange Traded Futures & Future Options
FX Spots & Forwards
Strong vanilla options, structured interest rates and note issuance product & revaluation skills
Preferable fully qualified CIMMA/ACA/ACCA
Excellent communication skills especially with Front Office members
Capable of working to tight deadlines & under severe time pressure.
Effective in allocating priorities.
Strong ability to convert theory into practice.
Excellent knowledge of MS Excel
