One of our leading financial services clients is looking for a Finance Manager to join their team based in Hove on a 12 month FTC. In this role you will be supporting the manager of Statutory Reporting in ensuring that the business is in accordance with IFRS Standards. This is an exciting opportunity where you will gain exposure to various areas across the business

Key Responsibilities

• Report on the IFRS results and disclosures for the department on a quarterly basis
• Business segment the IFRS results for the various departments
• Keep up to date with industry developments and best practise.
• Ensure that reporting meets the levels of accuracy agreed and liaise with external and internal stakeholders to do so.
• Oversee issue resolution during reporting production and ensure effective communication between key stakeholders
• Liaise with the auditors from a financial reporting perspective to ensure that all requirements are carried out at the agreed quality levels.
• Ensure that IFRS knowledge is applied to all reporting and that it is inline with new standards

Skills Required

• A fully qualified accountant with at least 1years pre-qualified experience.
• IFRS knowledge and Statutory reporting experience
• A Financial Services or insurance background is preferred
• Proficient user of excel
• Good stakeholder management
