One of our financial services clients is looking for an Assistant Finance Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. This role is based in Bath and is a perfect opportunity for an individual who is looking to take on a managerial finance role. Working in the finance division you will contribute to the fees and charges operations and the financial management of the business.
Be the first port of call for members of your team, providing them with sound leadership through training, guidance and constant support.
Lead team meetings and provide a structured plan for the team.
Keep track of individual and team performance and ensuring that targets are met and set
Provide feedback to the finance manager on individuals and the teams performance
Oversee and review the calculations and payments of fees and charges for customers, advisers and the platform. Identifying any issues and suggesting improvements.
Oversee and control all queries in regards to fees and charges, escalating all queries and complaints
Knowledge of risk appetite statements and how they apply to this business area
Awareness of businesses risk, ensuring that they are controlled and mitigated
Hold an ACA, ACCA, CIMA, AAT or equivalent qualification through experience
Good attention to detail in order to be able to review and check over the calculations
Understanding of manual and transactional processes
Proven Management experience
Financial services experience is desirable
Proficient user of excel
Ability to work under pressure whilst remaining calm
