BRUIN Financial are working with a Canary Wharf based Ratings agency who are looking to recruit an Analyst to work within their Insurance team - you will be taking the lead in analysing market data across the sector and providing internal & external communication around trends and potential market impacts.

The job holder will be a key component to strengthen our Insurance information and proposition, and will be highly influential in helping to shape the firms future direction, to meet the needs of clients for high quality, complete, accurate and timely data. The role involves close collaboration with the Senior Insurance Specialist and the Head of Banking and Insurance.

• Participating in regular meetings with Ratings Analysts to align goals and objectives for data representation
• Responsible for liaising with Ratings Analysts across the world regarding various issues
• Actively participating in external client meetings, providing presentations to promote the firms product
• Ensure highest levels of data quality for Insurance, checking information has been correctly processed by the outsource teams and providing feedback
• Provide advice on modifications to templates needed to reflect evolving analytical or industry circumstances
• Providing consultancy, solutions and advice in the area of Insurance credit analysis across the organisation
•Responding directly to clients, in response to specific queries
• Assist with the implementation of quality improvement and assurance processes relating to the Insurance spectrum
• Prepare and provide regular reporting to peers, supervisors and key stakeholders, including analytical liaison


• Experience of working with Insurance fundamental data, in accountancy, actuarial or auditing environment
• Proven experience of interacting effectively with senior management
• Strong Excel manipulation skills a requirement, with SQL programming a non-essential benefit
