Data Analytics – Project Manager

BRUIN Financial is proud to be working with a globally recognised Financial Services firm based in Manchester City Centre. We are seeking a Data Analytics Project Manager to join the organisation on a permanent basis.
As Data Analytics Project Manager you will be responsible for the coordination, planning and execution of analytics and visualisation for each of the respective business audit teams.
These resources will act as business analysts to define audit requirements for analytics and automation, as well as become subject matter experts in the business area of support and understand the regulatory environment.
These resources will integrate themselves with the audit lifecycle, and collaborate with the audit team to understand where analytics can be applied in the audit plan to drive efficiency, effectiveness, coverage breadth and depth.
Key Requirements for the role :
• Able to clearly explain the audit process to clients (if appropriate), as well as any findings or results.
• Understands the sensitive nature of confidential information and uses it appropriately. Elevates potential audit issues to the AIC as soon as they are identified.
• Has demonstrated ability to explain technical/complex issues to non-technical audiences and applies logical, well-constructed arguments to persuade and influence others to adopt a new point of view. Degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant critical thinking specialty such as MIS, DIS, Computer Science, Mathematics preferred.
• MBA, CPA, CFA or related certifications preferred.
• Modellers - Advanced degree (PhD) in Math, Statistics, Physics, Economics or Engineering preferred.
• Prior experience in Audit or the relevant specialty area preferred. Additional core skill requirements include understanding of the applied and interpretation of analytics results for Audit, critical thinking and problem solving.
