International bank seeking an Operational Resilience Manager to join their London office.
Key Responsibilities

• Take ownership of BoE discussion paper DP01/18 ‘Building the UK financial sector’s operational resilience’, together with any subsequent Consultation Papers (CP) or Policy Statements (PS) relating to Operational Resilience.
• Design and define the Bank’s Operational Resilience framework.
• (to align with ERM framework).
• Establish and lead an OR workgroup to bring together stakeholders.
• In particular co-ordinate with staff responsible for BCP, Operational Risk, Cyber security, Operations Dept and IT department.
• Identify critical services and produce front-to-back workflow maps
• Establish Operational Resilience tolerance / risk appetite.
• Define and run stress scenarios..
• Coordinate with staff responsible for Recovery Plan and Resolution Pack.

Skills/ Experience required

• Relevant Experience and relevant Professional Qualification or Degree
• Extensive knowledge of the operational procedures relating to wholesale and retail banking in the UK
• Significant experience within Financial Services Industry, Back Office and Operations functions.
• Excellent communication skills – both upward and downward
• Proven ability to deliver operational changes on time.
• Positive and professional work ethic with drive and ambition
• Excellent written communication
• Project skills
