Global Corporate Administration Service Provider seeking a Group Risk Framework Manager to focus on Policy in their London office.
Responsibility for the development, management, maintenance and improvement of Group Policy Framework, including minimum standards and associated procedures.
Act as business owner for the Policy System (Policy Hub), developing the business system to provide bespoke reporting.
Advising and partnering with stakeholders to provide guidance, support and challenge to ensure effective implementation of Group Policies across the business.
Proactively provide independent, meaningful, value-add oversight and challenge to senior management, challenging existing practices and recommending proportionate solutions;
Work collaboratively with First Line of Defence to establish appropriate Policy metrics and escalation trigger thresholds;
Using Policy reporting, identify material, systemic aggregated and emerging vulnerabilities, risks and deficiencies, escalating appropriate through governance channels;
Provide timely analytical commentary and insights regarding the Policy Framework environment to applicable governance forums and senior management;
Skills/ Experience required
Comprehensive Operational Risk Management understanding with minimum 3 years experience in Operational Risk roles, alongside a relevant industry recognised qualification is preferable;
Proven track record in developing and implementing Operational Risk Frameworks in a global context, with experience of Policy Frameworks;
Highly developed communication and influencing skills with the ability to engage and build global relationships at all levels;
A sound knowledge of laws, regulations and practice applicable to a regulated companies, private bank, wealth or asset management is desirable but not essential;
