Leading Asset Manager seeking a Senior Cyber Security Analyst to join their London office.
Assist in developing and maintaining the cybersecurity strategy for the firm.
Propose and own cyber security improvement programme to ensure security controls are constantly improved
Maintain the relationship and be the primary point of contact for escalations raised the third party who provides SIEM service. Also maintain relationship with other security vendors.
Ensure secure build standards are available and updated for database, operating system and network devices.
Maintain and improve cybersecurity monitoring, this includes:
o Perform the defined periodic monitoring for detecting unauthorized activities and checks on various security products
o Ensure all new IT Infrastructure devices are pre-compliance checked for secure build.
o Perform the periodic compliance monitoring to security standards across all environments,
o Report on vulnerabilities vs patch status
o Report the IT KRIs / KPIs
Coordinate and manage external security testing (such as penetration test, red team exercise) and ensure the required mitigating actions are completed by the relevant teams. Also, manage the annual internal or external IT audits
Provide technical expertise / guidance for cybersecurity and information security controls for new and current projects / processes.
Maintain the Information Security Policy exemption process and conduct an annual review of agreed IS exemptions to confirm the exemption requirement.
Technology Product Knowledge:
Knowledge on the following products are essential:
o Windows active directory
o Windows operating system
o Cisco network devices
Knowledge on the following products will be desirable:
o Windows Exchange DLP
