An exciting opportunity to join a rapidly expanding Insurance Broker Group. UK Travel is a feature of the role. Can be based in Birmingham, Reading, Leeds or York for example due to the fact that a large number of recent acquisitions has provided numerous locations from which to be based for the successful candidate.
To carry out monitoring and thematic reviews to a professional standard including subsequent report and tracking of remedial actions.
To take part in Group or office/business projects as required which may include establishing, drafting and implementation of key areas such as Group standards.
To assist the Group Head of Risk and Assurance, Chief Risk Officer or others as directed in the promotion of Group standards and values.
To promote and help embed the Group Enterprise Wide Risk Framework (EWRF).
To be involved in the design and delivery of compliance training.
To remain up to date with regulatory and Group requirements and where appropriate/required to suggest changes to Group procedures.
To carry out monitoring and thematic reviews as directed, together with reporting requirements in accordance with the monitoring plan and published standards.
To carry out ad-hoc assignments as directed.
To support the Group Risk and Compliance Team and the wider Group to achieve its objectives including taking part in Group/office/business projects.
To building good working relationships with offices whilst maintaining independence and objectivity.
Experience in an appropriate Audit, Risk and/or Compliance role within an Insurance Broker required.
