A global banking group is looking for a Financial Crime Team Manager to join their team in Milton Keynes. You will be responsible for overseeing the banks financial crime prevention and controls whilst ensuring that there is full success within the first line of defence. Key Responsibilities

• Resolve escalations for customer related issues such as risk assessments, screening and payment screening while taking part in the improvement of the apprentice program
• Forecast and manage the team workload and productivity
• Report on Management Information and KPIs to Senior managers
• Update the managers on the progression of work being done whilst keeping them informed on any issues identified in good time
• Escalate issues, making necessary recommendations to senior stakeholders in a timely manner
• Manage, mentor and train the individuals in the team

Skills and Experience Required

• Understand the regulatory and financial service legal framework as well as the consequences of being non compliant with regulations
• Knowledge of customer due diligence, AML and any other legal and regulatory obligations that could affect the role.
• Good awareness of the banks values and principles along with knowledge of the services and products offered by the bank
• A clear understanding of the effects that the environment has on financial services
• Extensive Financial Crime compliance knowledge.
