I am working with a client in Liverpool who are currently recruiting a Group PR, Content & Social Media Manager. Our client is an established FinTech business who are currently going through a large digital transition and this is an excellent time to join a growing and fast forward thinking organisation. The purpose of the role is to develop and implement an annual PR, Content and Social Media strategy to build the company’s external perception, awareness and engagement for the company’s B2C and B2B brands.
Role Responsibilities:
• Define and deliver the PR, content and social media strategy for the company brands
• Develop, manage, deliver, measure and report on all PR and Social campaigns
• Create and maintain a planning calendar of activity and content that will improve perception and build awareness of the company brands and increase customer engagement
• Drive the integration of planning with other departments to ensure a consistent message to the customer and efficient use of assets produced
• Manage external agencies and drive and motivate them to reach their agreed KPI’s
• Work with the team and contact centre to develop SLA’s for social feedback and continually monitor and revise
• Establish method of social listening with process of reporting findings and taking action when appropriate
• Lead the successful delivery of PR/Content/Social media plans
• Manage a budget for PR, social and content, reporting any variances
• Manage, train, coach and develop the team ensuring they are motivated to achieve their objectives
Skills and Experience Required:
• Strong copywriting skills with demonstrable ability to adapt tone of voice
• Experience working in PR, social media and content creation
• A passion for social media
• Superb communication skills with ability to communicate across all levels and develop relationships with key internal and external contacts
• Knowledge with social tools; hootsuite, Sprout social, Brandwatch, social bakers (or equivalents)
• Management experience
