I am currently recruiting for a Co-Head of Digital Strategy to join our client based in Glasgow. This role will join our clients’ market leadership team and will work with other members of the team to meet its commercial objectives and own the development and implementation of the digital elements of the clients’ market strategy. The role will lead the development of “Digital Acumen” across the senior leaders of the team and wider business, ensuring that decisions and actions taken are consistent with their firm-wide digital strategy. This role also has the responsibility to drive growth in and maximise the profitability of the teams’ propositions, providing direction and thought leadership from a digital prospective.
Key Responsibilities:
• To work with the Business Unit leaders across their market to ensure the realisation of benefits of their digital products within end-to-end proposition lifecycle, so that the return on investment is maximised.
• To drive increased value from the market/unit propositions by understanding key market needs and identifying appropriate digital capability and business models to meet them.
• Drive a product management mind set within the team.
• Ensure approaches are adopted that most effectively re-use the company’s software components and models and mitigate their risks in the use of these.
• Work with the leadership team to ensure the right people are involved in architectural decision making and appropriate delivery models are adopted to drive the long-term success of the propositions.
Skills/Experience:
• Experience in leading a team with a strong understanding of modern software development practices and experience of managing a portfolio of software-based propositions.
• Strong people leadership skills at senior level with proven evidence of people development.
• Proven track record of managing change.
• Experience of working in a professional services environment.
• Exceptional organisational skills.
