I am currently recruiting for a IT Helpdesk Assistant for one of our clients based in Manchester city centre. Our client is looking for a multi-skilled 1st/2nd line IT Helpdesk Assistant to join their dynamic and hard working IT team.
As an IT Helpdesk Support you will be the first point of contact for all users via telephone, email and face to face in conjunction with a service desk management system within an agreed SLA. You will be responsible for supporting and assisting with the development of IT systems and fulfilling IT projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver high quality technical support on a range of technologies
• Hands-on attitude to troubleshooting hardware and application specific issues
• Resolve and escalate user incidents or queries within strict SLA and KPI timeframes
• Take ownership of requests assigned to you and manage them through to resolution
• Help support and train other team members
Skills and Experience Required:
• 1+ years hands-on related IT support experience
• Windows Desktop 7-10, Citrix XenApp/XenDesktop
• Windows Server 2008 R2 to 2016
• Use and support of Microsoft Office namely Outlook, Word and Excel including Visual Basic
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to work as part of a team, supporting other team members
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
• Server virtualisation (VMware)
• Mobile device support (iOS, Andriod, MDM)
