I am currently recruiting for an Associate Business Data Analyst to join an exceptional financial services organisation based in Birmingham. This role will sit within the Regulations and Compliance team and the role will be working closely with the compliance team to ensure that their programmes are globally effective.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide Data Management oversight and support. This will include data sourcing and contracts, documenting critical data elements, data quality rules, business glossary and data profiling.
• Maintain the data issue log and prioritise data issues with stakeholders.
• Perform business and data analysis in response to data failures ensuring that identification of data issues are supported.
• Work closely with the IT team in regards to system issue resolutions for data issues.
• Undertake proactive data profiling or monitoring of data, to identify potential issues before they arise.
• Produce data issue metrics and reports to allow stakeholders to make informed decisions.
Skills and Experience required:
• The ability to perform analytical assessment of data-set and information flows across business types and systems.
• A proven track record of high calibre performance, in a data management environment demonstrating a disciplined approach.
• Good knowledge of IT technical processes and implementations including SDLC/Waterfall and Agile.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• An understanding of Relational Databases and SQL concepts.
• Experienced in business and data process mapping (beneficial)
• Experienced in business and data process mapping (beneficial).
• Experience in the use of ServiceNow platform as an end user (beneficial)
