Our client, a leading leading European banking group operating with multiple branches in the UK is seeking to hire a Data Assurance & Reconciliation Office. The role will be a Fixed Term Contract for duration of 9 months. They are able to offer a competitive salary and benefits.

The role will focus on the quality, appropriateness, assessment and reporting of the data held within the FSCS required Single Customer View (“SCV”) and Exclusions files. This includes analysing quality data, reporting data quality for remediation, ensuring SCV files reconcile to the organisations records accurately continuously, producing data quality assurance and conformity management information for senior management/committees.

You will receive the opportunity to learn how the Bank is run and operated particularly within the product management area.

Key Responsibilities:
• Supporting the FSCS, Process Owner in the satisfactory operation of the FSCS service.
• Ongoing quality assurance testing of the data used in the production of the Single Customer View (“SCV”) and Exclusions files. Therefore, the role holder will be required to have a comprehensive knowledge of the regulatory data parameters required by the FSCS in the production of SCV and Exclusions files.
• To regularly run quality assurance tests and or design and implement tests to identify and quantify the quality and/or conformity of the SCV and Exclusions file data, ensuring the files are in compliance with the FSCS requirements.

Experience:
• Experience managing with volume data, designing and implementing data quality assurance assessment’s and being able to quantify results.
• Ideally in house experience within financial services
• Professional competence and relevant experience in data quality assurance within defined regulator parameters
• A relevant post-gragraduate qualification (preferably in Accounting, Data Management, Qualitative and Quantitative Analysis)
• An excellent understanding of the FSCS requirements would be desirable
