My client is an Independent and progressive Claims Management Company with offices and staff located across the U.K. Due to substantial growth, a need has arisen for an experienced, dynamic and forward thinking Claims Handler to join their team based at their Manchester Office.
As a Claims Handler, you will be working within an established team, where your duties will include but will not be limited to:
Responsible for claims from First Advice to Settlement/Completion and Repudiation where necessary.
Recording new losses from policyholders and brokers and providing advice on policy cover, claim process and loss mitigation.
Producing Preliminary, Interim and Final Reports to a high standard.
Liaising with the policyholder to obtain and request supporting documentation and to confirm policy information.
Appointing Loss Adjusters and suppliers as required.
Managing a claim diary and chasing all required parties as required.
Contacting suppliers and tradesman to discuss quotations and invoices as required
You will have proven Claims handling experience ideally within Household and Commercial Property Claims.
Confident and willing to undertake all aspects of Claims handling.
A keen eye for detail
Possess excellent Communication, Customer Service and Time Management skills
Awareness of FCA rules and regulations
