One of our clients, a top tier investment manager is looking for a self starter to join their Business Change and Automation team within the Global Business Solutions department as a Programme Manager. You will be responsible for delivering a programme to transition all of the year end financials to a consistent report date.
Work with Key stakeholders to identify, analyse and document project requirements and structure work accordingly.
Oversee the delivery of the programme.
Engagement with business representatives and Technology on systems implementation initiatives to facilitate scoping, prioritisation, benefits identification and tracking, and business / operational readiness
Identifying and managing dependencies on other functions
Establishing an effective programme governance structure
Liaison with project managers and other departments across FIL to coordinate activities and resolve issues on cross divisional projects
Ensure that programme risks, issues and actions are managed and escalated where appropriate
Provision of timely, clear and accurate reporting for key stakeholders and interested parties
Advanced experience of Axiom and the detailed workings of the system and its components.
Experience of working in a reporting or control environment and experience of regulatory reporting requirements
Knowledge of Capital Markets products most notably: cash securities, repos and derivatives
Good understanding of regulatory rules Basel III, CRD IV
Finance qualification will be beneficial
Excellent communication and presentational skills (written and verbal)
HPQC or similar project tracking software would be advantageous
