Senior Wordings Specialist

Our Client's International Wordings team is looking for a Senior Wordings Technician to join their team in London. As a Senior Wordings Technician, you will be a crucial member of the team, working closely with the underwriting business across all product lines, providing technical drafting skills and advisory services to our clients and brokers.

Your essential responsibilities will include analyzing and reviewing our existing products, creating and innovating new insurance products, collaborating with colleagues across the Wordings team, and supporting underwriters in achieving underwriting discipline.

To be successful in this role, you should have a comprehensive understanding of individual insurance classes, in-depth knowledge of standard clauses used in the market, and a proven record of working with insurance wordings. You should also be able to work both as part of a team and independently with little supervision, exercise independent judgment, and deliver your own wording solutions to underwriters, brokers, and peers both in writing and face-to-face.

The ideal candidate will have ACII or legal qualifications or be working towards them and experience in the use of contract analytics technology tools. We will consider candidates from a Underwriting/Claims/Broking background.
